UPDATE, Oct. 23: Cardi B is updating fans on her health.

After going live from her hospital bed on Oct. 21, Cardi has canceled an upcoming concert.

On Instagram, the rapper wrote, “I am so sad to share this news, but l’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I wont be able to perform at ONE MusicFest. It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang – thank you for understanding and l’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love yall.”

Original report begins below:

Rapper Cardi B is vowing to sue after she a “prank call” resulted in Child Protective Services (CPS) being sent to her house.

Cardi addressed the issue from a hospital bed on Oct. 21.

According to the rapper, an unidentified individual “prank called” CPS, reporting that Cardi’s three children were in danger.

“For the Child Protective Services to come to my house? Not my house, my gated mansion at 11 p.m. while my children are sleeping because there’s an anonymous call that there been going on that, that my kids have been getting abused and beaten. Are you dumb?” Cardi said during the Instagram Live, KTLA 5 reports.

“This is when the pranks start getting too far. You think that is funny and it’s not funny,” she continued.

Cardi told her viewers that her family is “the only colored people in my neighborhood completely and for (people) to pop up in my house with cops and child protective services because you wanna do an anonymous call involving my children… I promise you this, I’m gonna sue CPS for coming to my house at whatever time it is,” she said, adding that she will “sue the person that did this anonymous call.”

“I’m gonna get to the bottom of this,” the rapper promised. “I’m gonna hire the best private investigator in the whole country because y’all take joking and y’all take (things) a little too far.”

The mom said her “kids live great,” KTLA 5 reports, saying they attend the best private school, have the best nanny, and she spends more money on them than she does herself.

“My kids have never been touched, never gotten hit no matter how annoying they are. I never hit my kids,” Cardi continued. “We take very great care of our kids.”

While it’s unclear why Cardi was in the hospital, she recently welcomed her third child into the world on Sept. 7.

On Aug. 1, Cardi B announced her pregnancy and her decision to file for divorce from her husband of six years, fellow rapper Offset, in the same Instagram post.

She is seeking primary custody of the children they share together.
