After it was revealed that Prince Philip will be laid to rest on April 17, after passing away at the age of 99 on April 9, news broke that Prince Harry will return to England to attend his grandfather’s funeral. According to Fox News, this will be the first time he has seen his family since moving to America with his wife Meghan Markle and their son, Archie.
However, many were shocked to learn that Markle wouldn’t be attending Prince Philip’s funeral along with her husband. And many questioned if the decision was made based on the publicized reaction following her and Harry’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, which seemed to have driven an even bigger wedge between them and the rest of the Royal family.

But as reports are revealing that is not the case. In fact, it appears as though Markle had planned to travel with her Prince Harry to say their final goodbye’s to Philip, but it is her doctors who have advised her not to travel across the pond.
As Harry and Meghan revealed in February, they are currently expecting their second child soon. And it is believed that for safety reasons, Meghan has been told not to travel.
Hopefully, the Royal family will be able to put their differences aside for the Queen’s sake as the celebrate the life of her beloved husband of 73 years. Or better yet, they use this time to fix their seemingly broken relationship.
