Anyone who tunes in to Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen – which airs every Sunday through Thursday on Bravo – knows how iconic of a segment ‘The Rapa-Report’ is with Michael Rapaport. He doesn’t make an appearance every day, but he’s known to drop bombshells every single time he does!
And that’s exactly what he did on August 13, when he joined Andy Cohen and Jessel Taank on the show for yet another edition of ‘The Rapa-Report.’ Known for his hilarious, animated, and relatable opinions of everything ‘Real Housewives’ – which he’s a notable fan of – Michael Rapaport did what he does best.
Cohen asked him to rate the hostess skills of Erin Lichy – a ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ star. Many people were quick to poke fun at her decision to serve Pringles and caviar at a recent ‘girl’s night out.’ It might sound like a peculiar combination to serve as refreshments, but Rapaport was all for it!

“I’m looking into the camera about this,” Michael Rapaport said as he turned to speak to the camera directly. “Erin, anytime you’re serving caviar, let me know. I don’t know what you guys are talking about,” he said – referring to all the people who were criticizing Erin’s decision. He didn’t stop there, though.
He goes on to explain where his love of caviar started and his response might surprise a lot of people. “I was at Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s wedding. They had a wall of caviar – I still have some saved over,” Rapaport explained. He didn’t even care about the Pringles debate – the caviar is worth it, regardless.
Both Andy Cohen and Jessel Taank laughed at his story, but it didn’t take long for Cohen to express his confusion over the fact that Rapaport had been on the show ‘87 times’ and he had never talked to him about Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s wedding – something he had never really mentioned before.
“Well I dropped it now and I’m still eating the caviar from that – I was shoveling it down,” Rapaport added. He also said Billy Preston was one of the performers before claiming there were a lot of ‘bucks’ (dollars) spent on the wedding. The wedding also featured a 13-minute fireworks display and 50,000 flowers.
Why Was Michael Rapaport at the Pitt-Aniston Wedding?
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt first met in 1994 when they were introduced by their managers and went on their first date four years later. The former ‘it’ couple made their red carpet debut in September 1999 at the Emmy Awards, announced their engagement in November 1999, and finally tied the knot in July 2000.
So, where does Michael Rapaport fit into all of this and how in the world did he receive an invite to the exclusive 200-guest ceremony? Well, it all started in 1993 when Rapaport and Pitt appeared in True Romance together – both of whom had small roles. In fact, it was one of Pitt’s earliest roles in Hollywood.
Then, in 1999, Michael Rapaport appeared in five episodes of Friends, where he played a police officer who dated Phoebe (played by Lisa Kudrow) for a short time. For those who don’t know, Jennifer Aniston was one of the stars of the show. Between True Romance and Friends, he befriended the former couple.
